Things are coming along beautifully, at least for the most part. A few things are struggling since the weather cooled again significantly like my zucchini and young echinacea plants but most things are busting out with new life.
Our new raspberry patch that we started at the south end of the chicken run is looking lush and full. We are very excited about the upcoming raspberry turnovers, jams and more we will be able to make
The glass gem corn I started in the greenhouse is looking quite healthy and it will not be long before I can transplant it into the main garden bed.
The comfrey is doing as comfrey does and is going crazy. I have already harvested and dried a quart jar and will be putting up at least one more to add to what I already have from previous years as this one is very important to me for healing skin ailments, fractures, sprains and more. However, I will still get far more than I have time or need to put up so I will also be doing a chop and drop with both it and my bountiful nettle as this is a great way to nourish the garden areas and make the most of the abundance.

Other things happening is that my small einkorn wheat patch has really been taking off so there is hope that it will do well in this area. This small patch is only for the sake of trying it to know if we can grow it here and if need be down the road we can till up a larger patch at our second property to grow much more.
I was also surprised to see how good my young quince tree is doing this year considering it did not produce anything the past two years.
There is so much more I could cover today but I will save that for another post :)
Happy gardening all!
